Ocala Leased Housing Corporation (OLHC)
The Ocala Leased Housing Corporation (OLHC) is a Florida not-for-profit that had its beginning on September 14, 1972, in Marion County, Florida. The Internal Revenue Service granted the OLHC its 501(3) non-profit status on December 15, 1972.
Mission: The mission of OLHC is to build better neighborhoods by providing comprehensive opportunities for our residents through partnerships and networking within our community.
OLHC received its certification as a Community-Based Development Organization (CBDO) from the city of Ocala in 2000. This designation is a HUD certification granted by local government. The CBDO's primary purpose is to improve the physical, economic or social environment of its geographic area of operation by addressing one or more critical problems of the area, with particular attention to the needs of persons of low and moderate income.
The current board members include 6 directors:

- Director: Cheryl Walder
- Director: Elnora Mitchell
The OLHC has formed a limited partnership to develop low-income housing tax credit project, for which it serves as the Managing General Partner. The limited partnership is Magnolia Walk Apartments I and II. It is a $13 million low-income elderly tax credit development. The OLHC has continued to serve in the role of managing general partner.
