Employee of the Month: Jacalyn Brown

Jacalyn Brown has been employed with the Ocala Housing Authority for 19 years as the Compliance Director. The Public Housing Authority afforded her with the perfect niche for assisting families of incarcerated individuals. She founded FLIP FLOP Support Groups Inc., during her tenure with the Ocala Housing Authority. Her passion is helping the disenfranchised through advocacy, self-empowerment, and self-improvement.

Her motto is: "I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is joy."
